Ache de Barrio:  Latin: Latin Jazz, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia Tropical, Chacha, Boleros, Son Cubano, Montuno, Rumba, Guaguanco, and more!
Alan Stewart  is a two-time award winning harmonica artist and is accomplished on the steel drum as well.  He’s played all over the United States but shared his country and island music here for many years as a member of the island legends, the ‘Beach Bums’.  He’s currently performing around the valley as a solo act as well as with Robert Schwab and the ‘Over the Hill Band’ and J. Micheal Laferty.
Andrew Minkler has shared his talents as a classical guitarist and vocalist in the island area for over 30 years. He is a multi-instrumentalist, playing horns, guitars, and keyboards.
Anubis Morrison’s sound can be classified as modern progressive grunge rock drawing influences from Phil Collins, Sting, Alice In Chains, Ankla, Incubus, Days of The New and STP. His sound ranges from very mellow Acoustic songs to a very Hard Rock grungy progressive sound. 
BongoDogs: This band is a local favorite because of its truly special and unique South Texas sound….lovingly referred to as “pure caliche”!  Every member of the Bongo Dogs is an accomplished musician with years of experience and incredible talent.  Their performances include their original tunes – many of which are featured on two CDs: “Puro Caliche” and “Viva Caliche”. 
Buck’N Crazy Band:   Country / Texas Country / Americana…A local favorite for boot scooters! 
Cactus Willie:  A popular local entertainer heavily influenced by his blue grass roots (as well as his blue blood roots; his uncle is the famed blue grass legend Lester Flatt!)  He spent many years performing with numerous artists, including the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Ray Price, Billy Walker, and many others. His music includes cowboy and hobo songs, gospel music, some bluegrass, and oldies rock.  He performs solo, as well as with his Cowboy and Hobo Show Band. 
Chris Rivera Band,  formed in 1982, plays throughout South Texas. Its influences include ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Johnny Winter.
Chuck Comeaux:  Presenting the best in classic rock & roll!  Chuck performs in many of the venues in the SPI area as a solo act or as “Chuck and Friends” and “Rock Island”, accompanied by other great island musicians such as Earl (the Pearl) Bulinski, Chris Woods, Tom Johnson, and more.
Clay Underwood:  Clay Underwood’s story is rich with classic tales of “due paying” and musical moonlighting. All put together, the world is witnessing the birth and creative vision of a true Country Music Artist that will be around for a long time.
Cleiri: I find inspiration for my music in the human experience regarding love, life, and the natural world. My music is an original blend of Spanish-ballad-style and soft-rock with a dash of ranchera-style which pays tribute to my roots in singing.

Dogwatch: Lobo del Mar is a family whose members form, among other endeavors, a band a dance troupe. Over the years, this family has traveled the globe, experiencing dozens of cultures, and absorbing their influences along the way. What began as a Celtic band has become something indefinable, though when pressed we’ll say “world music and dance”.

Emilio Crixell and Border Soul:  Enjoy Rock, Latin Soul, R&B and the music of South Texas.
Enlace Band offers a versatile mix of romantic ballads, country songs, danceable cumbias, and a variety of rock/pop songs in both English and Spanish.
Gene Sibley:  This innovative guitar synthesist, showman, and vocalist has been performing rock, rhythm and blues for almost 60 years.  He thought he would slow down when he lost his sight. It didn’t happen.
Geoff Clifton:   An island icon, not only as a popular DJ, but as a vocalist and extraordinary guitarist as well.
Harley’s House Band  Americana/Country/Rock.   A favorite at Harley’s Country Store & Beer Garden, Bayview, Texas.
Hector Guzman, the “Guitar Man”, has a huge lineup of soft rock favorites, especially the oldies but goodies both in English and Spanish.

J. Micheal Laferty, is a benchmark artist in the Americana, Trop Rock, Texas Music market. His music, a tongue in cheek reflection of his island lifestyle and tropical surroundings is characteristically delivered with a sly smile and a blazing wicked wit that immediately engages the audience. 
Jenuine Cello, aka Jen Mulhern, creates luscious, vibrant cello textures looped and layered live to paint the world inside her head.
Jewel Marie captivates audiences with her beautiful renditions of country, classic rock, pop and soul favorites.

Louie Villarreal: – Current Band Leader for the “Texas-Good Times Band”,  a Guitarist/Vocalist old school musician and 12-string guitar soloist who started out in the mid 70’s playing mixed variety genres of popular/oldies music from the 50’s to present in the South Texas and the Northwest Indiana Regions.
Mark Allan Atwood has spent three decades as an artist on the Texas Music landscape, with an underground, but devout following. From his years as an acoustic artist on Dallas’ songwriter scene, to his work as a successful touring rock front man, and now for the last ten years blazing trails and breaking musical stereotypes on the Texas Country/Americana scene, Mark’s voice and lyrical style have always reached his audience.
Mark Berry Band: A high energy performance guaranteed at every show. Raised by 90’s Country and shaped by Texas Country.

Over the Hill Band:  After a 17 year sabbatical, local guitarist and vocalist Robert Schwab has returned to his roots and teamed up with SPI icon and two-time award winning harmonica player Alan Stewart to form the Over the Hill Band.  They create magic when they merge their two unique sounds to perform new and classic rock and country hits.
Patrick Lee Garza:  With traditional influences like Cash, Haggard & Jones, memorable melodies and honest lyrics, Patrick Lee is the troubadour of our time.
Pelican West:  Pelican West Band is a top notch show/dance band. With an extensive song list and several theme shows, this band is a perfect fit for any venue or special occasion.

Rockstar Denied:  With roots planted in the deep South Texas border town of Brownsville, Rockstar Denied uses its cross-cultural heritage to its advantage blending both Latin and American pop culture as a dance floor ignition switch. 
Roland Z has been sharing his live one-man show with the island for the past 15 years.  He plays a variety of hits from the 70’s and 80’s as well as country favorites, enhanced by his sequenced backing tracks that he creates during his shows.
Rustic Rose:  A South Texas country band based out of Mercedes, Texas. Established in 2020

Toby Beau:  This band originated in the Rio Grande Valley and is most popularly known for its 1978 hit “My Angel Baby. “Toby Beau” was the name of one of the last original wooden shrimp boats docked in the Gulf Coast community of Port Isabel, Texas.
